Bellin's Emplify Health Spotlights Organ, Eye, and Tissue Donation During National Donate Life Month

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — Emplify Health by Bellin emphasized the significance of registering as an organ, eye, and tissue donor on Wednesday in observance of National Donate Life Month.

The ICU nurses along with the Emplify Health by Bellin chaplain were present to honor those who have preserved lives through organ donation.

The festivities involve hanging paper birds on a symbolic tree to honor donors, along with raising flags and observing a moment of silence.

This dedicated awareness month serves as an opportunity to motivate Americans to sign up as organ, eye, and tissue donors," stated Maria Lodenkamp. "It also pays tribute to those who have gifted life-saving donations.
