Neurologist Reveals Cognitive Test Used for President Trump — Can You Pass It?
A neurologist has disclosed a straightforward mental exercise that you can attempt from your own home. This test is said to be one that U.S. presidents, such as President Donald Trump, have undergone.
These tests aim to assess your short-term memory, executive function, attention, and concentration, along with various other facets of mental well-being. A low score might suggest a reduction in cognitive capabilities, potentially serving as an early indicator of dementia.
In a clip posted onto the social media site TikTok, neurologist Doctor Baibing Chen - Who is better known as Dr. Bing clarified the procedures of the test so you can attempt it yourself. Addressing his over 118,000 followers, he stated, "This is what a cognitive assessment might resemble for a president."
- Patrick Swayze identified a consistent cancer symptom prior to being diagnosed in his fifties.
- I had to stay in my room with my teenage son's body after doctors dismissed his cancer symptoms as a mere toothache.
Shall we find out how well you fare? You have a maximum of 30 points to achieve, and feel free to stop the video whenever you're ready to answer the questions.
His inquiries were grounded in what is referred to as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment , which President Trump supposedly took and passed earlier this year in April.
Clock drawing (3 points) - Sketch a clock showing 9:05. You earn one point for a circular clock face, another point for properly placing the numerals, and an additional point for correctly positioning the hands.
Word colours (2 points) Dr. Bing presented three words: "red," "black," and "blue." However, each word appeared in a color that did not match the one described by the word itself. The task requires you to state the actual ink color used for each term instead of reading out the word’s literal meaning. If answered accurately without errors, you will receive two points with no half marks awarded.

Repeat numbers (2 points) He provided five digits for you to recite back. You earn two points if you accurately repeat all of them.
Reverse the sequence of numbers (2 points) He subsequently requested that you recount the same figures but in the opposite sequence from which they were originally presented; this too merits two points.

Multiples (2 points) - Whenever he announces a number divisible by four, you have to clap your hands. You earn a point for every accurate clap as well as for each proper omission when the number isn’t a multiple of four.
(1 point) Repeat the sentence. - He requested that you echo back a brief phrase to him. You earn one point for reproducing it accurately in full.
List all the fruits you know (1 point) - In 10 seconds, list out as many types of fruit as possible. You earn one point for every set of five fruits named correctly.
Identify the commonalities (1 point) - He requested that you highlight the resemblance between a watch and a calendar.
Identify the terms mentioned previously (5 points) Dr. Bing requested that you remember the five words from question number five from earlier. You will receive one point for each accurate word recalled.
Wherever you find yourself currently (3 points) - He requested that you inform him about the present season, which month it is, and the city where you are located. You will receive one point for every accurate response.
Dr. Bing commented, "The test you've completed assesses comparable areas and functionalities within the brain as those evaluated in certain cognitive assessments taken by presidents. Let me know your score."
